GRADE PAY OF 5400 TO ACP INSPECTORS

Yes you are correct. we must get another increment eventhough we are already in 5400 with second ACP. The clarification given clear in that aspect.

Yes, I agree. Otherwise what is the meaning of ACP, if they place in the pay scale of Supdts., but are shy of granting the grade pay admissible to supdts. Its is clearly stated in the ACP Rules that this would be a non-functional promotion. Then except for the executive powers of a Supdt., you are a Supdt., in all accounts related matters. Then where is the hitch. Isn't it the classic case of the Elephant is allowed to pass, but the tail gets stuck and the authorities are happy to grab the tail, while turning a blind eye to the logical end of problem !!!

Denying the GP 5400 itself defeats the intension of ACP scheme. It is the only way to give relief to the officers who are langushing for more than 22 years of service without any promotion

thereal losers are those who belong to un-reserved categories. a person belo0nging to reserved category gets promotion faster than his senior and also get higher grade pay after 4 years. the senior who did not get promotion gets ACP gets the g p of 4800 but when his junior get the g p of 5400 he still remain in g p of 4800 double blow.

The introduction of Grade Pay is itself an eye wash. Many of us are carried away for the just a couple of thousands. It should be dispensed with and changed to real increament.

Grde of Rs. 5400/- is not a big issue but the big thing will be this that we get something inform of Increment that there would be a substantial increase in our salary amount.

Yes double loss. those who get early prmotion are rewarded with grade pay of s 5400/-. Doublebenefit!! where as those who are not getting a single promotion even after completion of 20 years of service it is double loss that is no promtion and no grade pay?

The rules are silent on this aspect. why cant we represent this aspect in detail to the board through our association to get an early clarification

The Chennai High Court decision is a good decision, if we can collectively ensure that the same is implemented, i.e 5400 GP for officers having put in 4 years service with GP 4800, it would be benifitial to all

CBEC is a clssic example of cadre mismanagement and visionless and weak inefficient leadership...All strange anomaly has happened to the cadre from all quarters..be it delayed promotion or regional disparities or seniors of the same cadre pushed to a position saluting the juniors.. Yet shamelessly time in and time out we pat ourselves for the good work(?).. 5400 GP to ACP Inspectors of 4 years is yet another anomaly testifying for the management skills of the top brass... Will any one tell me who owns responsibility for this mis management.. does it hurt anyone's conscience at all..whether cadre restructuring can be a useful tool to correct these anomalies..whether we require cadre restructuring at all... and why do we have committees? The association should fight towards fixing the responsibilities on CBEC top brass instead of tea parties.. It is a comedy that chairman wants more representations from the associations and more comical is the associations burning the oil preparing them.. this goes on and on i guess...any bet?

As per Madras High Court judgement, ACP Inspectors should get G.P. of Rs.5400/- in PB-2 on completion of 4 years from 1st ACP and on completion of 20 years i.e.on 2nd ACP Inspectors should get G.P. of Rs.5400/- in PB-3 i.e.Assistant Commissioner's Grade Pay.
